A Textual Commentary On Matthew 16:2
(a) In Mat. xvi., B and some other authorities omit the latter half of v. 2 (from ὀψίας γεν.) and all v. 3 ; but here again the Eusebian Canons aid us, by arranging these verses as answering to Lu. xii. 54, etc. The omission in B produces verbal conformity to ch. xii. 39.
